MY TWO CENTS:
Now that our summer My Two Cents sabbatical is over, I thought I’d launch this fall with a simple check-in message. As I’ve spent some time refreshing my thinking, refocusing my efforts, and renewing my excitement for service, there have been a number of topics that have surfaced that seem to be important to share. And…I’m looking forward to kicking off again this fall with some new material!
However, that will have to wait for another time.
One of the items that is most important to me is adding value to those we serve, and to those alongside whom we serve. I’m learning that one of the best ways to add value is to listen to what people think is valuable rather than just spew a bunch of stuff that I think is important. So this fall kick off edition of MTC is all about me listening to our readers.
Would you do me a HUGE favor and hit reply to respond to this message with a one word, one phrase, one sentence, or one idea topic (or topics) of interest to you?
In the past we’ve covered personal development, leadership, financial planning, accountability, goal setting, and a myriad of other topics. Please don’t limit your reply to any of those…I offer them simply as ideas to jumpstart your thinking.
Again, if it’s not too much to ask, please take 30 seconds to reply with something about which you’d like to hear some thoughts or perspective. This will help me make this next season of MTC more valuable than ever!
Thanks in advance, and make it a great week!
